In a bid to increase collection of revenue, the Government has adjusted upwards charges for motorists using the Nairobi Expressway, effective immediately.
In a Gazette Notice approved by Transport CS Kipchumba Murkomen and seen by BRK, motorists will now pay KSH. 500 between Mlolongo and Westlands, up from KSH. 360.
The CS says the increase in charges of using the 27-kilometre toll road is due to the global dollar variation rates.
