Drama was witnessed inside the Divisional Police Headquarters in Nyeri as dozens of youths who were arrested by police (at least a day ago) on suspicion of being part of the outlawed Mungiki sect suddenly broke into traditional songs inside police cells.
The traditional songs were meant to send a message of solidarity and freedom as they awaited arraignment, their voices being heard in the entire station and attracting the attention of those who were visiting the facility.
