Police have sealed off the official residence of Meru Governor Kawira Mwangaza in Milimani Estate, Meru Town.
It’s reported that the contingent drove into the home on Saturday afternoon in multiple Land Cruisers and Subarus, barring journalists from closely covering their operation.
This comes barely a day after Governor Kawira’s son Timothy Kinoti and her brother Murangiri Kenneth were arrested on Friday on susspicion of being among masterminds behind the brutal murder of Meru blogger Daniel Muthiani, alias ‘Sniper’, a well-known critic of the Governor and her leadership.
