A landlord who attacked a section of his tenants in Maziwa Area in Imara Daima for allegedly delaying to pay their January rent has been arrested.
The man is reported to have stormed the houses of the rent defaulters and ordered them to vacate, having issued them with notices over the festive season. The unruly landlord went ahead to fight a woman who questioned his actions and removed the door of another tenant who requested to be shown an eviction court order.
Accompanied by goons, the landlord terrorized the defaulters, some fleeing with their children. During the melee, one person sustained knife cuts after the landlord aimed a kitchen knife at her.
