The family of Starlet Wahu Mwangi has explained why she was hurriedly buried, hours after being found gruesomely murdered inside an AirBnb in South B, Nairobi.
The 24-year-old socialite was laid to rest at their family home in Kamulu, Kasarani Sub-County, on Saturday, 6 January, barely 3 days after her mid-week horrifying death.
According to Pastor Kanyari, his younger sister was gone forever and there was no need of keeping her, “As a family, we decided that it was the best way to mourn our loved one,” he says.
Further, Starlet’s burial was attended by only close family members, members of the public and media being kept off, “We did not want outsiders during her burial. It was very private to the family. We however hope justice will prevail,” Kanyari added.
