A man was on Wednesday morning saved by members of the public from committing suicide by drowning. According to witnesses, the yet to be identified man jumped into River Nyando in Ahero, Kisumu County.
His action attracted the attention of passers-by who quickly flew into action, divers going after the man and dragging him ashore.
It has not been immediately established the motive of his action.
