President William Ruto has appointed Dutch Professor and Global Center on Adaptation CEO Prof. Dr. Patrick Verkooijen as Chancellor of the University of Nairobi for a period of five years.
Prof. Verkooijen is a distinguished environmentalist with a wealth of experience and expertise. He succeeds Dr. Vijoo Rattansi, who served the University for 10 years.
