Buzeki Logistics, a company part of the Buzeki Group of Companies owned by wealthy businessman Bundotich Zedekiah Kiprop (Buzeki) has indefinitely suspended its operations, leading to at least 300 people losing their jobs.
According to the businessman, the decision to close down one of the largest logistics companies in East Africa has been arrived at following the high cost of operation as a result of current fuel prices in the country.
He adds that since last November, multiple number of trucks belonging to the company remained unused as their services were no longer profitable.
The logistics company which operated in the East Africa region providing services to manufacturers and distributors had in its fleet tankers, trailers and tippers.
