The family of slain University student Rita Waeni has positively identified her severed head which was recovered by detectives on Sunday. The head was found wrapped in a purple blouse and dumped in Kiambaa Dam, Kiambu County, on Sunday.
Chief Government Pathologist Johansen Oduor, who led the autopsy and DNA analysis at City Mortuary, says the identification was based on the hair, forehead, and formation of her teeth.
Investigations into the horrendous murder still on.
