President William Ruto has reacted to a Friday morning Court of Appeal ruling which declared his Affordable Housing Project illegal and ordered deductions to the kitty be stopped effective immediately.
President Ruto who is currently on a tour in Meru County, says the housing project was initiated by the people of Kenya who elected him for his manifesto.
“You people elected me because my manifesto listed what will push this country forward. Therefore the will of the people is the will of God. I have enough authority from Kenyans who elected me to continue with the housing project,” the President has said.
