The family of 15-year-old Emmanuel Kirimi, a Form One student at Kilungu Boys in Makueni County are in shock after the boy suddenly died in school.
The family says the institution explained that Emmanuel developed a stomach upset and died 2 hours later. He was rushed to Kilungu Level 3 Hospital for treatment but the medical facility says the student was brought already dead.
A statement from the family seen by BRK says when they viewed his body, he had visible injuries on the forehead, the school being unable to explain further what transpired.
The boy had joined the school as a Form One last Monday on 15 January.
His body is to be transferred to Chiromo Mortuary where autopsy will be done on Monday to determine the cause of his death.
