Passport delays resume with earnest at Nyayo House months after a presumed ‘thorough clean-up’ by Interior CS Kithure Kindiki.
Many Kenyans have expressed their disappointment in the stalled issuance of the documents allegedly brought by shortage of passport booklets.
From passport attendants periodically missing from their stations to non-working systems, long queues which barely move in hours can be witnessed at the Immigration Department offices every working day from morning hours stretching to 4PM.
The Department is however yet to make an official statement over the fresh delays.
