The Loire Blue Range Rover SDV8 Autobiography that was used by the royal household and the late Queen Elizabeth II is up for sale. The cost of owning the vehicle has been set at $285,000, approx. KSH. 47M.
The dark sapphire blue SUV with ivory leather interiors covered 18,206 miles for the entire period it was used by the Queen. It was once equipped with police lighting and sirens, but those have since been removed.
Still intact in the vehicle are are grab handles that were added to help the queen get in and out of the vehicle. The 2016 Range Rover also maintains the original registration number that was issued back when it was a royal vehicle.
In addition, the vehicle is historic as Prince Philip at one time drove the Obamas around in the vehicle back in April 2016 during the president’s state visit to the United Kingdom.
It was one of the rare occasions for a sitting US president to be seen in a vehicle that isn’t ‘The Beast,’ the renowned Presidential Cadillac with all the security features installed.
Its official sellers, Bramley Motor Cars in Surrey, England, say whoever might buy the car will not buy it for use or for love of supercars but for its immense history.
