Elseba Kokeyo, better known as Cebbie Koks, faults media for fueling her alleged break-up with lawyer Steve Ogolla, with whom she got married in a grand traditional wedding back in December 2022.
Earlier this year, it was discovered that the beauty entrepreneur had secretly removed all their wedding photos from her gram feed, unfollowed her husband and went ahead to change her name on the platform from ‘Mrs. Ogolla’ to ‘Elseba Awuor Kokeyo’.
Remaining tight-lipped on the developments then, Cebbie now says she has the freedom to live her life the manner she wishes, blaming media for meddling in her private affairs.
“I’d say that people are petty, and I’d say media is petty. I have a business on the same context, why are they not amplifying that? Why are we looking at things that don’t really matter?
Like does it really matter that I changed my name or I deleted photos? We are more inclined to the negative than the positive. People need to find a life,” Cebbie says in a recent interview with Jagero, a YouTuber.
She further explains that the need to explain everything to media is why majority of celebrities (allegedly) go into depression.
Since allegations of her marriage with lawyer Ogolla emerged, the pair has remained silent, neither confirming nor denying the claims.
