Chairperson of the President’s Council of Economic Advisors (CEA) David Ndii hits back at social media trolls making fun of his added weight.
In the photo taken at least two days ago in Naivasha during the Second National Executive Retreat, Mr. Ndii appears to have noticeably gained weight, compared to when he took up the plum role slightly over a year ago.
In response to those making fun of his sudden added weight, the Economist says ‘it’s a national tragedy that so many imbeciles have nothing to talk about on public platforms’.
“To be overweight is a remediable personal challenge of little or no consequence to the general public. To be empty headed is an incurable societal burden.
Ũrimũ ndũrĩ ndawa. (Being stupid cannot be cured). To have so many imbeciles with nothing better to talk on a public platform is a national tragedy,” – David Ndii.
Many have made fun of the photo, saying Mr. Ndii is ‘literally eating life with a big spoon’ at State House.
