Pastor James Ng’ang’as church Neno Evangelism Center along Haile Sellasie Avenue is set for demolition, as Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) seeks to reclaim prime parcels of land originally belonging to Kenya Railways Corporation, but are currently owned and used by private individuals.
The affected parcels include lands where churches belonging to Pastor Ng’ang’a and Bishop Margaret Wanjiru sit. Other entities illegally using Kenya Railways land include Rubis Petrol Station located along Uhuru Highway and Arts 680 Limited.
On Wednesday, the Government stormed Bishop Margaret Wanjiru’s Jesus Is Alive Ministries church and began the demolition process, an action that led to the preacher being admitted at Aga Khan University Hospital.
