Evans Kosgei, man accused of killing his wife Jackline Kimaiyo for allegedly cheating on him despite investing on her, has been found dead in Thika after going into hiding four days ago.
Evans who published a thread on X explaining how disappointed he was after learning he was being cheated on, tagged DCI and media houses announcing that should anything happen to Ms. Kimaiyo, the story behind it should be known.
It’s alleged that he committed the horrific act on 7 March before going into hiding. His lifeless body has been found today in Thika, police cite su!c!de.
Evans in a series of Tweets on 11 February, narrated how he began dating Jackline back in 2016 while they were in high school. She later graduated from Murang’a University of Science & Technology and the pair had a child together.
Evans wrote he at one time worked as a night guard to support her and their daughter, only for Jackline to get into two other affairs after landing a job as a teacher in Nyeri. On 7 March, Evans tweeted that he was not okay and he wanted to teach Jackline a lesson.
On 8 March, Evans published another tweet after allegedly committing the crime, “Rest in peace my love, I’m following you,”.
