Controversial preacher James Ng’ang’a ordered to produce land documents belonging to LR. No. 209/9640 where his Neno Evangelism Center church sits along Haile Selassie Avenue in Nairobi.
Pastor Ng’ang’a earlier today while appearing before the Departmental Committee on Lands to adduce evidence regarding controversies surrounding ownership of the land, claims Central Bank of Kenya sold him the parcel at KSh. 42M.
The televanjelist in company of his legal team led by South Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro, says he bought the prime piece of land from CBK initially at a cost of Ksh. 32M but later the decision was rescinded and a new price of Ksh. 42M attached, which he says he paid 10%upfront.
The committee has given Pastor Ng’ang’a 7 days to present all documents involved in the purchase including the advertisement which publicized the parcel for sale.
Should the preacher fail to provide the documents, EACC has moved to court to demolish Pastor Ng’ang’as church and recover the land he allegedly grabbed from Kenya Railways.
