Jacque Maribe’s alleged appointment at Moses Kuria-led Ministry of Public Service as Head of Communications takes a new twist as Public Service Commission (PSC) denies neither recruiting her nor appointing the media personality to the position.
On Sunday evening when the news of her appointment first broke, CS Moses Kuria congratulated the ex-news anchor at Citizen TV and clarified that her appointment had been dully done by the PSC.
PSC through its chairperson, has since denied both the appointment and Kuria’s claims, dissociating the commission from Ms. Maribe’s alleged new job.
“No such appointment has been made. Neither has a request to employ her been received by the PSC Board. For the record, the said position will be filled through a competitive recruitment process should a vacancy arise,” PSC says.
