The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Party has explained why it is streaming live Njambi Koikai’s memorial service, which is currently underway from the Nairobi Chapel.
The party explains that this is meant to honour the media personality’s membership in ODM since its inception. “When the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) was formed, one of the admirers of its ideology was media personality and entertainer Njambi Koikai. She immediately became a member. In her honor, we shall stream live her memorial service from the Nairobi Chapel on Azimio TV,” the party’s secretariat says.
Njambi will be laid to rest tomorrow, June 14, at the Lang’ata Cemetery. The renowned media personality sadly passed away on the night of June 3, around 9PM while admitted at the ICU of Nairobi Hospital, where she was receiving treatment. Njambi had been battling Stage IV endometriosis for years.
