A first-year female student at Machakos University in Machakos County has lost her life after being fatally stabbed by her boyfriend; a 5th-year student at the same institution.
Initial reports say before the gruesome murder, the two had been involved in a heated argument over what police is yet to establish.
The two lovers lived together in Machakos Town. The suspect has been arrested and is now in police custody as investigations begin. His friend found at the scene of crime has also been arrested to aid in investigations.
The body of the deceased has been moved to Machakos General Hospital Mortuary.
