Kisumu-based Radio Africa journalist Dickens Wasonga has died following a grisly road accident on Friday morning along the Kisumu – Kakamega road around Lake Basin Mall.
It has not been immediately established the cause of the accident but photos from the scene seen by BRK, shows a completely damaged vehicle Dickens was driving.
Dickens, an editor with The Star newspaper, had been elected Chairperson of the Kisumu Journalists Network (KJN) in November 2023.
