Police say her body was discovered covered in blood and with injuries which suggested she was sexually assaulted before being murdered.
Her body has been moved to the Naivasha District Hospital mortuary for autopsy.
Locals have decried recent acts in the forest, saying it has suddenly turned into a den for inhuman crimes.
The discovery comes at a time when the nation is grappling with a wave of femicide which has left at least 16 women dead in the last one month.
Last Saturday, Kenyans took to the streets to protest the brutal killings, protesters calling on security apparatus countrywide to take stiffer measures on perpetrators of such acts.
