Real Housewives of Nairobi reportedly sued over production of Ssn 2 at a politician’s home

A politician, currently serving as a Minister in a foreign country, has reportedly dragged producers of Real Housewives of Nairobi to court following the ongoing production of the reality show’s Season II in his Kenya home.

According to a source privy to the issue, the Minister’s wife is part of RHON’s Season II cast and she is said to be shooting multiple episodes in their matrimonial home where she lives with their children, something her husband refers to as ‘an unsuitable environment for their kids’ and an action he did not approve.

The politician adds that after his wife had a surgery at least 4 months ago, they both agreed that she was no longer going to participate in RHON Season II, a decision that was (reportedly) communicated to the producers of the show.

He was later informed that his wife had proceeded to be a cast on the second Season of RHON, with some of her scenes being shot at their matrimonial home.

He argues that he neither permitted his wife to give information about him nor their marriage and family, as the show involves personal lives of the cast.

“I have no problem with her taking part in the reality show but her participation should be without any mention of the children or myself either in my capacity as her husband, father of the children or my position as a leader,” quotes the source.

The Cabinet Minister further says the show might expose his quiet life to public scrutiny and children to bullying.

He is now not only seeking orders to stop producers of RHON Season II from filming his children, but also barring RHON from airing scenes with details of his marriage and images/footages showing his children either on Showmax or any other social or streaming platform.
