There was confusion which gradually turned chaotic after a plane flying from Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos to Abuja, suddenly landed in Asaba International Airport without the crew informing the passengers. According to a passenger in the Sunday flight operated by United Nigeria Airlines, the crew were also not aware that the plane was landing in a wrong destination. “We departed Lagos to Abuja, and upon arrival, the cabin crew confidently announced that we’ve arrived Abuja, only for us to realize that we landed in Asaba. Government through the Treasury has announced new charges for eCitizen transactions which take effect immediately.
